Hi James, just a heads-up that invoice INV-0234 for $3,450.00 was due on 30 Apr. If you've already paid, please ignore this. Otherwise, reply if you have any questions. — Acme Plumbing
Thanks, I'll get that sorted today.

78 hours a year chasing money you've already earned.

NZ and Australian SMBs lose thousands every year to late payments — not because the money isn't there, but because no one followed up consistently enough.

Set it up once. It runs itself.

Three steps. Ten minutes. Then Chase handles the rest every single day.

1

Connect your Xero

Authorise Chase with one click. Read-only access — we can see invoices and contacts, nothing else. Takes 5 minutes. Revoke anytime.

2

Chase runs every morning

Each day, Chase checks for overdue invoices and sends the right SMS at the right time. Automatically, without you lifting a finger.

3

You get paid — and notified

A daily summary lands in your inbox. If someone hits 21 days with no payment, you get an immediate alert with their number. That's the one to call.

Firm but professional. Every time.

Each invoice follows a 3-step sequence, escalating automatically if there's no response.

1

Day 1 overdue SMS

A friendly reminder. Acknowledges they may have already paid. Low pressure, high response rate.

7

Day 7 overdue SMS

A follow-up that asks if there's anything holding up payment. Opens a conversation without confrontation.

14

Day 14 overdue SMS

A firm message asking for payment this week or a direct conversation to make an arrangement.

!

Day 21 overdue Owner alert

No more automated SMS. You get an immediate alert — name, amount, their phone number. Time to make a call.

One price. Every invoice. Forever.

Replies go to you

I built Chase because I watched my partner spend a Friday afternoon sending the same awkward "just following up" emails to clients who owed her money — work she'd already done, people she liked, conversations that felt horrible every time. Invoice chasing is not running a business. It's just stress with a spreadsheet. I'm Finley, based in New Zealand, and I built Chase to handle that specific kind of soul-destroying busywork so you don't have to. It's a small product, built carefully, and I stand behind it.

Anyone who replies STOP is removed instantly and permanently. Chase never contacts them again.

Answers before you ask.

Does Chase have access to my bank account or payment details?
No. Chase connects to Xero to read invoice data only — amounts, due dates, and contact details. It cannot see your bank account, move money, or access anything beyond what's needed to send reminders. Your financial data stays in Xero.
What if a customer gets upset about receiving an SMS?
It's rare, but it happens. The messages are polite and professional by default. If a customer pushes back, you stay in control — you can pause or remove any contact at any time. Anyone who replies STOP is removed instantly and permanently.
Who pays for the SMS sending costs?
We do — they're included in your $49/month subscription. There are no per-message fees on top of that. The flat monthly price covers everything, including SMS delivery for a normal volume of invoices.
Can I control which invoices get chased, or does it chase everything?
You're in control. You can exclude specific clients or invoices before reminders go out. Chase doesn't fire off messages blindly — you decide what gets sent.
What does setup actually involve — is it complicated?
It takes about five minutes. You connect your Xero account, review your reminder schedule and message wording, and switch it on. No technical knowledge needed. If anything feels unclear, email me directly and I'll sort it.
